better with sunshine and sewing

thanks for all of the kind words my friends!
it is humbling to deal with something that is so out of my control... i know that it isn't just me, and i also know that now is the time for sunshine here. hopefully i will be seeing more of this

for the next several months!
this is what it looked like heading up to the northern part of the oregon coast yesterday.... ahhh, sweet sunshine i love you. i will post more on our quick trip when i am more rested.

i came across cakie's a-frame tent and i loved it because 1. you can use a vintage sheet and 2. what a fun thing for marley to play in while we were camping! i have to say that i need to shorten my fabric so it lays more taut with the frame, but it was a hit for all of the younger kids. both blogs are full of lots of fun things so check them out sometime!

another recent blog inspired project was the birthday # shirt that house on hill road makes for her daughters. the younger set loves telling folks how old they are and i remembered seeing these lovelies. with the t-shirt our sweet 5 year old friend got 2 barrettes, one made by marley and one made by me. ....and i forgot to take pictures of them both. eek! i'm so bummed when i do that! here's my girl working on her feather and fake flower barrette.
